Poltair Woods can be found across the Road from Mounts Bay School, Heamoor.

Take the A30 by-pass flyover from Tesco, Penzance, and head for Lands End.  Go over the first small round-a-bout and continue up the hill.  At the next larger round-a-bout take the 4th exit towards Heamoor and Madron.  Follow this road, (Madron Road) around the bends, past the old school building on your right hand side.  About another 250 metres you will get to a crossroads, go straight over and up the hill until you get to another crossroads, turn left here into Boscathnoe Lane.  You can park along this road or if out of School hours, you can use the carpark /bus stop in front of the school.  The entrance to the woods can be found around the corner, back on the main Heamoor/Madron road.
